Mary Wintershausen

Mary Wintershausen has an outstanding record of achievement in strategic development, senior management and consultancy in central and local government.  Her 40 year career includes health, the private sector, 23 years in ICT management with a London Borough and 10 years as an independent consultant specialising in local e-government and modernisation.

 Mary’s local and central government clients have included the Office of the e-Envoy, Socitm Insight and the IDeA.  She has represented local government in Central/Local forums and has spoken at many national events.

Mary is a highly experienced trainer and was an Implementation Lead in the IT professionalism pilots which involved individual and groups of local authorities. She is also the author of the latest Socitm Insight guide on skills management
